Same old, same old. Its fair to say that I have been inspired by Harry Lamin's blog. I gues I consider myself to be lucky, as I wasn't around in WW1 or WW2. But for al the people who were I am truly greatful to, as if we didn't win the war we could all be Germans, obeying German rules, earing German food. but we're British, and proud to be, none of this German stuff, or cultures, just British, proud and independent!!
What would have happened if Germany had won the wars?? I guess we'd be different, a single race all over the world. No Jews, no black people. I guess that life would be boring, everyone would be the same, speak one language, and wear the same things. We would be one uniformed race.
Its people like Harry Lamin, that need recognition. They were the people who fought, lost their lives, for us their decendants, they were fighting for the counry's future.
